Concierge Service: We provide all of our personal recommendations including self-guided day trips to all of our guests. 

What to Know Before You Book:

Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is before 10 AM.
Rental agreement is required with ID verification.
Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed at this property. If guest are caught with a pet, guests may be subject to an immediate cancellation without refund. If evidence is found after your stay, there will be a $150 penalty for rule violation.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
Guests not staying overnight are welcomed. Loud, disruptive parties are not.
BYO Beach Towels. We provide bath towels
BYO Life Vests HIGHLY encouraged to ensure proper size.
Firewood is available for purchase.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Rates are based on demand and season. The pricing tools we use allow us to offer the most competitive pricing for lakefront house rentals on Lake of Egypt. Rates are subject to change by the day.

About the Owner

Owner Dr. Colvin purchased this property in 2021 after purchasing the home nextdoor for his own private getaway. This property is managed by Southern Illinois Vacation Rentals, owned by Allison Hasler. Allison has a deep love for the hospitality industry and showcasing beautiful southern Illinois.
